As an addition to the already built part of the Lakes City residential park, various architectural offices were asked to plan new blocks of flats on the empty plots. An important criterion in the planning was the design of the apartments ensuring a high quality of life, the direct green environment and the desire to connect with it, as well as the orientation of the building complex towards the lake.
The Lake City project represents a development of unique scale and significance. Although there is a perceptible boom in residential property in Budapest in recent years, this green belt development even has such an importance. During the preparation of the concept, we tried to achieve a diverse and complex architectural plan that offers plenty of different flat types. We have paid special attention to preserving green space and improving the natural environment.
Although many new buildings in Budapest offer a new type of residential environment, Lake City can show some unexpected attraction in the typology of residential buildings. In the city, a micro-community is born of people who like to find themselves in nature within minutes of the city center. Our basic concept focuses on different lifestyle models, paired with a variety of architectural and interior design solutions.
The location offers opportunities for communal spaces, diverse lifestyle models, recreational infrastructure, all in a diverse natural environment. Our goal is to create a harmony between architecture, nature and livable living spaces.
